And I think I saw a "mod" folder present in the UI for both encrypted and unencrypted ROMs. There shouldn't be any difference in speed as far as I'm aware. I figured out the issue just a little bit ago. Even though the file works fine on my PC as-is, it seems Linux/Deck/emudeck wants the name to be all lowercase. My file was AES_Keys and as soon as I changed it to aes_keys, it worked. Yeah I wish more people started emulating the 16 and 32 bit systems first, learned the terminology and got the hang of RetroArch. The AES Keys don’t seem to work with Citra #273 (which was the emulator that the QR code’s will softlock). The #273 version does not skip the voice lines in Tomodachi Life like it does with the latest Nightly and Canary versions of the emulator.
