When car was 1 yr old a key failed and was replaced. about 3 years ago the other failed. had been using the 1 key fine for about 8 years now. Now all keys dead including valet key and car is sitting in my garage. Am considering calling St Charles Mercedes Benz to get new keys and recoding. Other than that you can try another key if you have one. You might have a bad key or the electronic ignition switch may have failed. There is no way to start the car if the key will not turn. You can also check fuse 27 and see if it;s blown. Fuse 27 powers the steering lock.
