I'm currently playing my second life, and building a base. One problem that I have is the weight of the logs and planks. I pick up a few planks or logs and become extremely heavy loaded, and my movement speed decreases a lot. Because of this, it will take a long time for me to walk to the place where I want to build my walls, especially if I run out of trees near my base.

In Project Zomboid, you can get planks by picking them up in warehouses, construction sites, and storage buildings. You can also get them from disassembling wooden furniture.
